Our modern “perhaps more sedentary” living habits create tension and stress to the body, and as such when these accumulate over time, many of our common preventable diagnosis “bursitis, sciatica, osteoarthritis, rotator cuff tear, tendinitis etc” appears.
I am known to view and treat the whole body rather than focus on the injured area(s). I work with patients to restore flexibility and strength they may have lost through long term inactivity, overuse, birth and/or trauma. I view physiotherapy as a preventative measure, much like a regular dental clean or a car service. Having the guidance of a physiotherapist to maintain muscle and joint across the lifespan, is paramount in preventing patients from being stuck in recurring cycles of pain.
